IIoT among top reasons for deploying 5G in Asia/Pacific: IDC

NEW DELHI: About 12.4% of respondents from telecom operators in Asia/Pacific consider the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) as among the important reasons for rolling out 5G services, according to findings of an IDC survey released Monday.

IDC, while citing the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, said that sustainability is the fundamental business strategy for the future.
