I remain bearish on IT, expect EMS to boom: Sridhar Sivaram

Sridhar Sivaram, Investment Director, Enam Holdings, says “a lot of the changes have already happened and we would have added more to largecap financials. We have been adding PSU banks over the last two, three years. I do not think that has changed much. We have in fact added more in the last six months because that is a pocket where we see very strong earnings growth. It is a constant process but some of the strategic long term midcaps that we own, we keep churning that.”

What Suzuki’s entry did to India, Apple’s entry will do to the entire electronic manufacturing space. So if that thought has to be extended in terms of an actionable process, what is the best way to participate in the EMS scheme? There are four or five players who are listed, just by the basket.
