Hyundai Venue, MG Hector SUVs to come loaded with IoT, AI features

Come May, you can own a car which will respond to your voice command — be it starting the vehicle, making a phone call, changing the radio station, rolling down the windows or opening the sun roof.

Hyundai Motor India Ltd’s upcoming compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) ‘Venue’ and the Chinese-owned Morris Garages (MG) India ‘Hector’ SUV are going to be India’s first Internet-connected cars. Both the SUVs are scheduled to be launched in mid-May.

Digital partnerships

A lot of information technology companies and telecom operators are going to be part of this journey to provide cloud services, data collection and time-to-time upgradation of software.
