Hyderabad police moots database on security guards in IT hubs

Cyberabad cops have mooted a nodal agency to keep an eye on likely trouble makers in the three lakh private security personnel working in the IT hub of Madhapur and Gachibowli.

“There are 2-3 lakh security guards working in scores of IT firms in the IT hub areas. We need to create a nodal agency to maintain a data bank with information on the security personnel. It will keep a record of their errant and criminal behaviour,” Cyberabad Commissioner of Police VC Sajjanar has said.

This data will be handy for companies to verify their credentials and keep them off the rolls.
