Huge WhatsApp update will let you use the same account across platforms

Though WhatsApp is currentlty available to use on a windows PC, it requires you to have an active internet connection on the smartphone your account exists on, largely depending on it.

WhatsApp has always used a user’s phone number to provide a unique account and has hence never really been a truly multi-platform chatting application, since the app couldn’t be used on devices without a SIM card, like a Mac or a PC.

That will however change once the new update rolls out. Below are the new changes according to WABetainfo-

The new WhatsApp system will allow your account to exist on the iPad without the need of uninstalling it from you’re iPhone. You will also be able to use the same WhatsApp account on iOS and Android devices.
