Huawei’s first-ever foldable smartphone may have different specs upon launch

Huawei Mate X, the company’s first-ever foldable Android smartphone has already been through a couple of delays but the firm aims to bring this to markets this year itself. The handset was introduced in the latter half of February during MWC 2019 conference. And at that time Huawei did give us some information about the specifications. However, upon its launch the specifications might be a little different than what was mentioned in February.
Unlike what was mentioned during MWC 2019 conference, the Mate X is now said to feature the unannounced Kirin 990 processor, as reported by Neowin. The processor hasn’t been launched yet. At the time of the launch Huawei confirmed the device to feature Kirin 980 SoC. Also, Mate X may also get a different set of camera sensors. While earlier the foldable smartphone was said to feature RGB sensors, now it may get RYYB sensor, which has also been used in the flagship Huawei P30.
