Huawei takes a dig at Samsung during the launch of its foldable phone, the Mate X
Huawei has a history of mocking rival smartphone brands on social media websites like Twitter for their features and late arrival in the market. However, during the pre-MWC 2019 conference, the company went ahead and mocked Samsung on stage while introducing its Huawei Mate X smartphone. The foldable smartphone by the company aims to go up against the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Fold.
The Chinese tech firm mocked Samsung for its Galaxy Fold not just for the screen size but for the hinge gap as well. Huawei started by mocking Samsung for the screen size, which is bigger in the Mate X as compared to Galaxy Fold. The smartphone has an 8-inch screen when opened and is 5.4mm uniformly thick. When folded, the handset has a 6.6-inch screen at the front and a 6.4-inch screen at the back. The device also has a triple rear camera system, which can be used for taking selfies as well.
