Huawei Mate 20 Pro gets DC dimming feature with new update

Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has rolled out a new software update to the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. It brings EMUI version 9.1.0.135 to the device along with a major feature called DC dimming that lowers the screen light by directly decreasing the voltage. It is said to help reduce eye strain caused due to phone’s usage. The feature was recently made available to OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T
The feature can be enabled from the Settings app of Huawei Mate 20 Pro. In settings, users can follow this path – Display >> Eye comfort >> Flickr reduction. Other changelog include Moon mode support for the camera and GPU Turbo 3.0.
For now, the update is coming to devices in China and is expected to soon roll out to other countries as well.
