Huawei launches its new foldable smartphone Mate X2

NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Huawei has launched its latest foldable smartphone — Mate X2 at an event in China. With the Mate X2, the company has ditched the outward-folding design and switched to an inward-folding design like the Samsung Galaxy Fold.
The second screen of Huawei Mate X2 is located on the outside — same as the Galaxy Fold. The hinge of Huawei Mate X2 is made of fiber and steel and it claims to withstand a pressure of more than 2100MPa.
Huawei Mate X2 comes in Black, White, Crystal Blue and Crystal Pink colour options. The smartphone comes with a starting price tag of 17,999 yuan (Rs 2,01,705) and will go on sale in China from February 25.
