Huawei launches ASEAN Academy training module in Malaysia

Huawei Malaysia has introduced Huawei ASEAN Academy, a training module to empower digital talent in the region. The company aims to train 50,000 people over the next five years. The academy will provide more than 3,000 ICT courses involving 100 skilled trainers, as per the company.
The academy’s ICT training programs and courses are designed to target government bodies, industry professionals and university students. It will implement educational methods namely scenario-based and online live training, and also overseas study tours.
Based on the industry requirements, the academy aims to address the pain points of talent gap within the three core pillars which are ICT industry trend guidance, ecosystem talent enablement and skill improvement.
