Huawei announces P40 Lite 5G in Europe
Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has announced the P40 Lite 5G smartphone for the European markets, as per a report by GSMArena. The next in the P40 family of smartphones, the handset can be preordered now. The handset has been priced €400 (approximately Rs 32,796), which makes it one of the affordable 5G phones in Europe, with the official date for sale expected to be announced on May 29. The smartphone will come in three colour variants: Green, Black and Space Silver.
The P40 Lite 5G sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS display with a punch-hole design. A 16MP selfie camera sits inside the punch hole cutout. At the rear, the phone sports a quad camera setup with a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP depth sensor and another 2MP sensor for macro photography.
A Kirin 820 5G processor coupled with 6GB RAM will power the phone. The P40 Lite 5G runs EMUI 10.1. A storage capacity of 128GB has been given to the device. The phone storage can be expanded with the help of Huawei’s NM memory cards. Huawei P40 Lite 5G is backed by a 4000mAh battery.
