HPE partners VVDN to make $1 billion worth of high-volume servers in India

NEW DELHI: Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Tuesday said it plans to manufacture approximately $1 billion worth of high-volume servers in the first five years of commencement of production in India, as the company outlined its ambitions for making in India.

“Som Satsangi, SVP and managing director, HPE India, along with Puneet Agarwal, CEO, VVDN technologies met Ashwini Vaishnaw, Hon’ble Minister for Railways, Communications, Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, to share details of the initiative,” HPE said in a statement.
