Now, in a latest scam, hackers are using the app to gain access to users’ WhatsApp accounts.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, the blog that tracks developments in WhatsApp, hackers are luring innocent WhatsApp users into giving up the control of their accounts by reaching out to them as members of WhatsApp’s technical team and asking for the six-digit verification codes.
