Facebook-owned WhatsApp is among the most popular instant messaging platforms with features such as multimedia content sharing, audio and video calls using VoIP services. Considering all of them rely on the internet speed as well as data, it is a power-hungry app.
According to a report by Android Authority, WhatsApp consumes around 740Kb/minute over a voice call. Now, that data consumption will increase with video calling.
