How Samsung’s foldable screen Galaxy Z Flip compares with new Moto Razr
Foldable screen is the new buzzword in consumer tech, but OEMs are still figuring out what form factor is most suited for it.
Early 2019 saw phones like Samsung Galaxy Fold, Royale’s FlexPai and Huawei Mate X which could unfold to offer larger screens of almost up to 8-inch on the lines of tablet, compared to the 6-6.5-inch screens of smartphones.
At the close of 2019, Motorola showed up with the new Moto Razr, a flip phone with a foldable screen. It has the form factor of a regular smartphone but when folded it becomes smaller in size to easily fit into small pockets. Named after the original Razr, it had the same clamshell or flip design.
