How Microsoft may be planning to ‘crack’ into Sony’s home turf

After the acquisition of major video game developer Bethesda, Microsoft may be planning on acquiring some of the Japanese game development companies too, as per a report by Bloomberg.

According to the report, the Redmond-based tech giant has entered into talks with some Japan-based game developers like Koei Tecmo Games Co. about porting some of their titles on Xbox. The company has also reportedly approached “small to big” Japanese game developers with a view to acquire their businesses.
