How Airtel’s new broadband plans compare with that of Reliance JioFiber, Tata Sky and BSNL’s

In what surely can be called good news for consumers, Airtel has revamped its broadband plans. The new plans offering unlimited data start at Rs 499 and are part of the company’s Airtel Xstream Bundle. Subscribers will also get Airtel Xstream Box worth Rs 3,999 with these plans. The Android 9.0-powered smart box packs remote with support for voice commands, access to apps on Google Play Store as well as offers online gaming.
Airtel’s new broadband plans come just days after arch-rival Reliance Jio announced new plans for its JioFiber broadband service. Reliance JioFiber plans now start at Rs 399. In a bid to boost its users base, the company is offering 30-day free trial. The offer includes internet speed of 150 Mbps, a set top box with access to 10 OTT apps as well as free voice calling.
