Hope this settles matter: Ex-Vodafone counsel Salve

Senior lawyer Harish Salve said the arbitration decision should hopefully end the matter. Salve had successfully represented Vodafone in the Supreme Court, which had overturned the Bombay High Court ruling in favour of the tax department. Speaking to ET from London, Salve said, “I only hope that the issue is put to bed. For, this was one red rag for the foreign investors.” He said that while he did not have the details, it was a unanimous award.
