Honor smartphone launch marked by pricing confusion
New Delhi: Chinese smartphone brand Honor, which announced a re-entry into the India market earlier this month, faced some issues around the pricing of its first device, with the company announcing a permanent price cut on the first day of the sale.
The smartphone was launched in India at Rs 37,999 but the company advertised a much lower price during the launch, and said it will be available with a Rs 10,000 discount, after combining multiple affordability offers. The offers included bank discounts, additional exchange bonus, and a TWS earbud from the brand.
