Honor 9X smartphone to soon make it to global markets

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is going to launch its Honor 9X smartphone. The company’s global president George Zhao has announced on Facebookthat the handset “is coming to the global markets very soon”. To recall, the handset was launched in company’s home country China back in July, along with Honor 9X Pro.
According to a report by GizmoChina, Honor 9X will first launch in Russia on October 17, after which it is said to launch in Amsterdam, Netherlands on October 24.
The report also suggests that even though the company made use of its own Kirin 810 processor when it launched the device in China, the global variant of the Honor 9X will be powered by Kirin 710F processor. This is because the latest mid-range processor from Huawei cannot be licensed by Google. Even though there is no official India launch date yet, the handset is likely to hit the domestic market as well.
