Hitachi Energy doubles capacity at Bengaluru plant

Hitachi Energy India NSE -0.18 % has invested Rs 100 crore to double its existing product manufacturing capacity at its facility at Doddabalapur in Bengaluru, on growing demand for sustainability solutions and urbanization.

The capacity to produce power quality equipment has been expanded to 22,000 MVAR (kilowatt ampere reactive) from 10,000 MVAR.
