Hike ramps up virtual hiring amid Covid-19 lockdown

NEW DELHI: Internet startup Hike Thursday said it has initiated online hiring of employees for over 20 open positions across roles in product, design, marketing, AI & ML, engineering, partner functions, and user research, for the launch of HikeLand.

The development comes in the light of the extended lockdown period because of which organizations are increasingly adopting the remote hiring model.

Additionally, the instant messaging app has also kick-started its ZeroTo2 program which is designed to hire freshers including engineers with 0-2 years experience. For this purpose Hike has initiated virtual hiring events using platforms and techniques like using Slack, Hackerank, Google Meet, and code pairing platforms for their recruitment drive.
