HFCL, i2e1 team up to provide PM-WANI WiFi in Karnataka’s Baidebettu village
NEW DELHI: HFCL (formerly Himachal Futuristics Communications Limited) Thursday said it has teamed up with Telecom Infra Project (TIP) and i2e1 to establish the second PM-WANI model village in Baidebettu village in Karnataka.
The PM-WANI network will provide high-speed WiFi internet with a bandwidth of up to 500Mbps in all common areas of the village spread across a radius of 6 kilometers, as per an official statement. This will benefit over 9,000 residents of the village.
They will also benefit from access to digital services such as healthcare, education, banking, retail, entertainment, government digital services, and others.
