Hexaware Technologies jumps 4% after acquiring Mobiquity

Shares of Hexaware TechnologiesNSE -0.86 % climbed nearly 4 per cent to Rs 358.55 in Friday’s session after it announced the acquisition of Mobiquity Inc for about $182 million.

Headquartered in the US, Mobiquity is one of the largest independent customer experience consulting firms that specialize in creating friction less multi-channel digital experiences using cloud technologies.

This is the largest acquisition by mid-size IT firm Hexaware and the combined entity aims to directly compete with large digital agencies and consulting firms.
