Here’s why OnePlus stopped Android 10 update for these smartphones

Earlier this month OnePlus announced that it is rolling out OxygenOS version 10.0 based on Android 10 for its last year’s OnePlus 6 and 6T smartphones. The OS version was rolled out in a staged manner. However, soon after the rollout began, the firm faced a snag for OnePlus 6 devices. The delay was said to be due to a bug that was supposed to be fixed. However, according to the company’s weekly update forum post, it has been confirmed that there will be a new OS update coming to OnePlus 6 and 6T users. The particular build is yet to be approved by CTS.
“For OnePlus 6/6T users, your patience is much appreciated. There’s a build waiting for CTS approval, and hopefully you can start receiving the update from next week on (if CTS is passed),” states the post. Nothing else was mentioned about the rollout.
