Here’s when Samsung will launch its latest iPhone rival
Putting all rumours to rest, Samsung has confirmed the launch date for its upcoming Galaxy S-series smartphones. The South Korean tech giant has confirmed through its official Samsung Mobile Twitter handle that the Galaxy Unpacked event will be held on February 11 in San Francisco.
In the tweet, there is a 15-second teaser clip that shows a square and a rectangular shape in places of the alphabet ‘a’ in the word Galaxy. These shapes can be seen pressing through a sheet and online reports suggest that they represent the camera bump on the Galaxy S11 (or Galaxy S20) and the Moto Razr-like Galaxy Fold 2 respectively. Apart from this, the company is expected to unveil Apple Airpods Pro rival on the same day.
Several reports in the past have suggested information about the three expected smartphones in the Galaxy S-series and the Galaxy Fold 2. Last week, it was claimed that Samsung may adopt a new moniker — S20 — for the next Galaxy S-series handsets. This means, the 2020 lineup of has been claimed to be called Galaxy S20e, Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 Plus.
