Here’s what made Twitter limit number of accounts you can follow per day
NEW DELHI: Twitter is taking a step ahead to clean its platform and make its platform more legit. And this is being done by the microblogging website by eliminating spammers. Twitter is removing annoying spammers from following several hundred accounts at once by limiting the number of accounts people can follow in one day. While earlier anybody was able to follow as many as 1000 accounts in a day, the number has now reduced to 400.
“Follow, unfollow, follow, unfollow. Who does that? Spammers. So we’re changing the number of accounts you can follow each day from 1,000 to 400. Don’t worry, you’ll be just fine,” tweeted the company from its official Twitter account. The process Twitter is trying to refer to is usually known as ‘follower churn’ wherein an account follows and unfollows a large number of accounts to get some of them to follow you back in the entire process.
