HCL wins $1.2-bn deal from Verizon

Bengaluru: HCLTech has won a $2.1 billion deal from Verizon Business that includes deployments involving managed network services (MNS) for enterprise customers.

The company said in a stock exchange filing on Thursday that it expects the deal to have a positive revenue impact over the next six years beginning in November 2023. This is one of the largest deals HCL has won in the recent past.

The deal pushed the stock price up by nearly 4% on the BSE to Rs 1171.3 per share. The partnership combines Verizon’s networking power, solutioning, and scale with HCLTech’s managed service capabilities to usher in a new era of large-scale wireline service delivery for enterprise customers.
