HC rejects Xiaomi challenge of ED seizure order

New Delhi: In a major blow to Xiaomi India, the Karnataka High Court on Friday rejected the writ petition filed by the smartphone major challenging the constitutional validity of the enforcement directorate order seizing over Rs 5,500 crore of the company.

A single judge bench of Justice M Nagaprasanna dismissed the petition on merits while upholding the maintainability of the petition.
