Haven’t seen specific focused manipulation concerning Indian assembly elections so far: Twitter

In a Spaces conversation on Wednesday, Yoel Roth, head of site integrity at microblogging platform Twitter said the company hasn’t seen specific focused platform manipulation in reference to the assembly elections in India so far though that doesn’t mean there haven’t been attempts to disrupt conversations on the platform.

“We are taking rapid action to mitigate those actions. We have teams and systems in place to monitor conversations related to the assembly elections. We want to ensure people have access to credible information,” said Roth, speaking in reference to the assembly elections in states such as Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry.
