Content-creation platform Hashnode has raised $2.1 million in a funding round led by Sequoia Capital India’s Surge platform and a clutch of angel investors, including Naval Ravikant, Ritesh Arora, Nakul Aggarwal, Shashank Kumar and Harshil Mathur.
The six-month-old startup, founded by IIT Bhubaneswar graduates Sandeep Panda and Syed Fazle Rahman, allows users to publish stories on their own domain and connects them to software developers. Surge is Sequoia Capital India’s rapid scale-up program for startups in India and Southeast Asia.
