Haryana to start ‘Emergency Response and Support System 112’ soon

Emergency Response and Support System 112’ will soon be started in Haryana to provide police and other emergency services to the people.

“For this, 630 new Innova vehicles have been purchased, which will soon be dedicated in the service of the public,” said Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij while addressing the senior police officers during a review meeting of the Police Department on several important issues like crime prevention, detection, law and order situation.

The Minister said that the Special Task Force (STF) of the police would be strengthened further so that criminal activities of interstate gangsters could be monitored and effectively dealt with.

Expressing satisfaction over the performance of STF, the Minister gave in-principle approval to provide them new modern vehicles, latest technology equipment and software etc.
