GSMA urges ICT companies to join RPS framework to ensure secured data flow across borders

NEW DELHI: With ASEAN member countries adopting a ‘Regulatory Pilot Space’ (RPS) framework to ensure secured data flow across borders, Mobile trade body GSMA has urged companies and businesses to come forward with projects in order to be a part of the framework.

The RPS forms part of recent developments towards an ASEAN cross-border data flow mechanism that was given the go-ahead at the 19th ASEAN Telecommunications and Information technology ministers (TELMIN) meeting in Vientiane on October 24-25.
