GSMA launches initiative to drive deployment of open APIs for new digital services, mobile apps

NEW DELHI: The GSM Association or GSMA has launched the ‘GSMA Open Gateway’ industry-wide initiative, a framework of universal network Application Programmable Interfaces (APIs).

The initiative has been devised with the objective to provide developers with universal access to telco networks, the London-based industry association said in a statement at the Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2023 (MWC23) Monday.
