Grievances against BSNL landline services decline 78% between 2020 to 2022

NEW DELHI: The grievances against state-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL)’s landline services on the central portal have reduced sharply between 2020 to 2022.

Minister of State (MoS) for Communications Devusinh Chauhan in a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha said Wednesday that grievances received through Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) related to landline services against BSNL stood at 2,341 in 2020, 1,175 in 2021, and 524 in 2022, as per a Ministry of Communications statement.

Grievances against Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL), declined from 2,025 in 2020 to 1,219 in 2021, and rose sharply to 1,983, according to Chauhan.
