ATHENS: Greece on Thursday launched a tender to award rights for frequencies for next-generation 5G networks, its telecoms regulator (EETT) said on Thursday.
The regulator has approved the tender document for auctioning frequencies in the 700 MHz, 2 GHz, 3400-3800 MHz and 26 GHz bands.
Interested bidders can apply on Oct. 23, EETT said, adding that the auction will include several rounds.
