Govt open to investing more in the India Semiconductor Mission: Ashwini Vaishnaw

The central government is open to investing more in the India Semiconductor Mission as and when the need arises, the Union Minister of Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw said.

Speaking at a World Economic Forum session in Davos, Vaishnaw said that the proposed investment of $10 billion (Rs 76,000 crore) was ‘just the first tranche’.
