Govt nod to e-commerce, sports activities, jogging
The State Government after more than 90 days of lockdown due to global pandemic coronavirus has decided to restart economic activities in the State. The State Government after giving relaxations in essential activities has now decided to open more sectors. First, there was a waiver on movements of vehicles with certain restrictions, followed by opening up of eateries, clothes and shoe wear shops. Now the government has decided to allow resumption of sports activities and e-commerce activities for non-essential items too.
On Thursday, State Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh issued an order allowing online sale of essential and non-essential goods in the State. Along with this, sports activities can also be re-started in stadiums and sports complexes without spectators.
