Google’s Switch to Android now compatible with every Android 12 smartphone

Google quietly released the Switch to Android app earlier this year. The app aims to make it easier and simple for users to move from iPhone to an Android phone. However, the app only worked with Google’s Pixel lineup.
Google has now announced that the Switch to Android app will be compatible with any Android smartphone running Android 12. This means, that from now all iPhone users will be able to transfer their data from an iPhone to any Android smartphone running Android 12 or later through the Switch to Android app. What does this mean? It means that iPhone users can now transfer their photos, contacts and other data from their iPhone to their new Android smartphone without much struggle.
Until now, the only way to transfer your data between an iPhone and Android was to use a USB-C to lighting cable. But with this new update to the Switch to Android app, things get way easier, convincing a fraction of people who wanted to switch to Android but had put their plan on hold because of this.
