Google Translator

Google translator (text-to-text) is a translation application offered by google in 90 languages which includes 10 major Indian languages (Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Malayalam, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Kannada, and Marathi). It offers mobile interfaces, web interface for Android and iOS and an API that developers can use to build browser extensions, applications and other software.

Goggle translator has an additional feature of microphone support through which it offers real time voice-to-text translation. It is also available in many global languages but currently Hindi is the only supported Indian language. Both Hindi and English (India) dictionaries can only be accessed when you are connected to the internet as downloadable versions of these are not available. So, you need to be online if you want to speak with India-English accent or in Hindi.
