Google Translation’s cool new feature now available for these users
NEW DELHI: Tech giant Google showcased the transcription feature of Google Translate in January this year. The company has now started rolling out the feature for Android users. This new feature will enable users to record the spoken words in one language and then change them into translated text on their smartphone. This process takes place in realtime and without any delay.
The company announced that this new feature will be available for all Android users by the end of this week. Presently, it will support some languages which include English, French, German, Hindi, Russian, Portuguese, Thai and Spanish. This means that users will be able to listen to anyone of these languages and then translate it into another available language.
The new feature will work for live speeches, lectures, and other spoken events. The company also said that the transcription feature is regularly evaluating the whole sentence as the audio is still going on. For instance, it will keep on adding punctuation or correcting some words.
