Google Translate can now transcribe foreign languages in real time, including Hindi

Google today announced a new speech transcribe feature for Google Translate. The feature allows Translate to transcribe foregin languages in real time and is currently available in 8 languages.

“Transcribe will be rolling out in the next few days with support for any combination of the following eight languages: English, French, German, Hindi, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Thai,” the company wrote in a blog post.

“You can pause or restart transcription by tapping on the mic icon. You also can see the original transcript, change the text size or choose a dark theme in the settings menu,” the post adds.
