Google starts rolling out revamped version of Play Store

Internet search giant Google has started rolling out a revamped UI of the Google Play Store, claims a report by 9to5Google.
“Overall, this new navigation reflects how Google is phasing out navigation drawers on Android, given their general incompatibility with gesture navigation,” said the report.
According to the report, after the update, users will be able to see a blue overlay that highlights the users’ profile avatar in the top-right corner. This replaces the hamburger icon that used to be there.
Tapping on this will open a long menu with several sections such as “My apps & games,” “Library,” “Payments & subscriptions” and more.
