Google spotted testing ‘Incognito Mode’ in Play Store, to warn users of unknown app installs
Looks like Google is expanding the ‘Incognito Mode’ to other apps this year. The feature that was limited to just Chrome and YouTube until a few months ago reached Google Maps recently and is now said to arrive on the company’s app distribution service, Google Play Store. The feature is not yet live and has not been confirmed by Google as well. However, it has been spotted by XDA Developers in the Google Play Store v17.0.11 codes.
The website states that in the particular Google Play Store version it found two strings hinting the feature:
Turn on Incognito mode
Turn off Incognito mode
