Google rolls out Chrome 89 in beta: Key features of Chrome’s next big update revealed
NEW DELHI: Google has rolled out a new version of its internet browser — Google Chrome — pin the beta channel revealing some of the key features that the search giant will be rolling with Chrome’s next big update, claims a report by Android Police.
The first feature, called Privacy Sandbox, which Google suggests is a “a secure environment for personalisation that also protects user privacy.” The report claims that users will be able to find it in Settings > Privacy and security > Privacy sandbox.
Next, the Chrome 89 version is said to come with changes to the Discover feed on the New Tab Page but mostly in design elements. As per the report, Google is set to replace the cards in which articles are listed with dividers. The font is also said to be bigger and the description on the card has also been removed.
