Google rolls out Android 14 Beta 3 update: Here’s what’s new

Google released the Android 14 beta 2 update last month at Google I/O 2023 followed by the beta 2.1 update recently. Now the tech giant has started rolling out the new Android 14 beta update 3. The latest update brings platform stability which means that the developer APIs and all app-facing behaviors in the operating system have reached their final state and will remain unchanged until the mass market release. This is also the right time for the third party app developers to work and integrate new features to their apps.

The Android 14 Beta 3 update also by default enables font scaling up to 200% in Android to offer enhanced accessibility options for individuals with low vision. Moreover, users have the ability to grant partial access to their media library when prompted by an app requesting visual media permissions, which were introduced in Android 13.
