Google Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a XL codenames leaked; may come with 5G support
In 2019, Google for the first time launched mid-range smartphones — Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL. The internet search giant company — that has been launching its own Pixel branded handsets since 2017 — every year launched two smartphones till last year. Last year, the company first launched the mid-range smartphones in May followed by the standard October flagship launch.
Now, a new report claimed by XDA-Developers has suggested that three new device code-names have been discovered on Android Open Source Project (AOSP). “These code-names suggest that Google may be working on more than one mid-range 2020 Pixel—one of which is likely the Pixel 4a,” says the report.
The three code-names that were found align with Google’s internal code-naming convention that relates to some kind of fish. XDA Developers has found Sunfish, Redfin and Bramble.
