Google Phone app beta is now available for non-Pixel phones, here’s how to get it

Google is expanding its Phone app support for more Android smartphones with its latest beta update. Until today, the app served as the primary dialer app for Pixel-series phones and a few Android One smartphones. As spotted by Android Police, the latest beta update can now be installed on any Android smartphone.
According to the report, to be able to install the app on the smartphones, users will have to enrol into the Beta program of the Google app. We tried to install the app on a couple of smartphones and it worked without any glitches. Also, it is worth mentioning that the beta version of the app does show on Google Play Store listing.
The beta version of the dialer app is the same app which comes pre-installed on Pixel phones, however, some features of the app such as Call Screen and a few recently added features of the app is missing.
