Google Pay app gets integrated with Gmail, here’s what it means for you

Google is weaving more services into one another to make lives simpler for users in the ecosystem. The latest move comes in the form of weaving Gmail into the Google Pay service. While you already had the option to send and receive money using Google Pay right from the Gmail’s email compose window, which is yet to reach all the users, this new integration makes it easier to access your movie tickets, loyalty cards, boarding passes and more without scrolling through multiple emails and wasting time looking for the right one.
For instance, if you have purchased movie tickets and the tickets reach your Gmail inbox as a confirmation, Google Pay will extract it so next time you don’t have to scroll through emails but simply open the Pay app and access the ticket details.
