Google, Nvidia ‘sides’ with Sony over Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision

Google and Nvidia have raised concerns with the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) over Microsoft’s $68.7 million acquisition of Call of Duty maker Activision, says a report.

In December, FTC filed a lawsuit against Microsoft seeking to block the purchase of Activision. The watchdog argues that the deal would allow Microsoft to suppress competition since it will have all the means and motive to harm other players in the gaming industry.
